Brunton First School holds a very special place in my heart. I began my own teaching journey here in 2009 as the school’s first Class Teacher. In 2013, I was proud to become Assistant Headteacher and in 2022 I became Deputy Headteacher, a role I held for four wonderful years. Today, I am absolutely delighted and honoured to serve as your Interim Headteacher.

I have grown alongside this school and have had the privilege of seeing it flourish and expand from just 39 families in 2009 to a thriving three-form entry first school, now home to 450 incredible children and more than 60 dedicated members of staff. Together, we are committed to ensuring that every child’s first school experience is one they will never forget.
